Those who’ve followed my trail of intrigue over the years know that I’ve never been content to rest on a single solved case.
I’ve expanded my whodunit horizons into fertile
new territories — crafting experiences that both
challenge and delight audiences around the
globe. For those of you new to my world of
mystery, I invite you to explore the following
websites and uncover the full scope of my
enterprise. Each is a chapter in the grand story
I’ve been writing for more than half my life.
Mysteries on the Net
This is where it all began — the original scene of
the crime. Launched in 2002 with just three
downloadable murder mystery party kits, the
site now boasts 30 thrilling whodunits enjoyed
on six continents. Each mystery bears my signature,
every clue and twist personally designed to draw sleuths deep into the investigation. As a sly sleuth, you'll want to look at Google's review of Mysteries on the Net.
Kids Mysteries
When parents and teachers began requesting non-murder mysteries suitable for young detectives, I assembled a team of writers who could, quite literally, “think like a kid.” The result: 15 imaginative mysteries that engage and entertain youthful problem-solvers around the world. (And yes — one of those writers hails from Stratford-upon-Avon, home of the Bard himself.)
Murder Mystery Theater
As theater groups clamored for stories with more dialogue and stage-ready scripts, I adapted six of my most-popular mysteries into full-scale stage productions. These plays now bring gasps and laughter to repertory theaters, high schools, and community stages everywhere.
Mystery Writing Boot Camps
To guide aspiring writers eager to craft their own intricate plots, I developed an intensive three-day boot camp built around motive, means, and opportunity. Held in partnership with a Milwaukee bed-and-breakfast, these events transform wordsmiths into full-fledged mystery creators.
Online Mystery Party Workshops
For global detectives who prefer to sharpen their pens from afar, I host shorter virtual versions of my boot camps — two or three evenings of lively interaction, critique, and storytelling via Zoom.
Online Murder Mystery Events
For those who crave live action, I direct online performances featuring a troupe of semi-professional actors. Whether for corporations or private gatherings, audiences worldwide step into the action — interrogating suspects, uncovering clues, and savoring the thrill of discovery from the comfort of home.
Live Performances
Every great mystery demands a convincing cast — and over the years, I’ve assembled my own company of trained accomplices. Many clients prefer that I manage every detail of their live murder mystery events, from casting to curtain call. For them, I call upon a troupe of skilled local actors who have mastered their roles, ready to deliver performances filled with laughter, suspicion, and perfectly timed confessions.
Of course, if a client already has a band of willing culprits and cunning detectives, I gladly step into the director’s chair to guide them through the production, ensuring the drama unfolds with seamless intrigue. Though my home base is proudly rooted in the Badger State, my reach extends far beyond its borders. I also hold the domain names for other states — digital stages waiting for new performances — all of which will be part of your inheritance when you assume the role of Chief Inspector.
Murder Mystery Seminars
When the world of business meets the art of detection, fascinating things happen. As a professional speaker, I discovered that corporate audiences learn best when they’re having fun — and nothing engages a team like a good mystery. My seminars merge entertainment with enlightenment, transforming motive, means, and opportunity into lessons on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
At the request of organizations across the country, I’ve developed specialized programs that incorporate full-fledged murder mystery investigations into leadership and culture training. The result: participants sharpen essential skills without ever realizing they’re in a classroom.
Two corporate websites —Organizational Culture and Management Strategies — outline the frameworks behind these programs. I’ll share the workbooks, scripts, and techniques I’ve refined over the years, showing you exactly how to turn education into entertainment — and every lesson into an unforgettable case.
From stage to screen, classroom to conference room, my mysteries have found their way into every corner of the world. Each project adds a new layer to the grand investigation — and the story, as they say, is far from over.
